Background of the Study

In Talata Mafara LGA, both public and private sector organizations struggle with financial sustainability due to inefficient financial planning and poor budgetary controls. Budgetary control involves setting financial targets and monitoring actual performance against these targets. This study will investigate how effective budgetary controls are in ensuring financial sustainability in Talata Mafara LGA.

Statement of the Problem

The lack of effective budgetary controls in Talata Mafara LGA has resulted in financial instability for several organizations. Inefficient use of resources and failure to adhere to budgetary constraints have hindered long-term financial sustainability. Understanding the impact of budgetary controls is crucial for improving financial practices and ensuring sustainable development.

Aim and Objectives of the Study

Aim: To assess the impact of budgetary controls on financial sustainability in Talata Mafara LGA.
Objectives:

Research Hypothesis

  1. H₀: Budgetary controls do not significantly influence the financial sustainability of organizations in Talata Mafara LGA.
  2. H₀: There is no significant relationship between budgetary control practices and financial stability in Talata Mafara LGA.
